Evanora Harkness Was the Leader of the Salemites Coven

A long time ago in 1693, Evanora Harkness was the leader of a coven of witches called the Salemites. The Salemites tried to kill a bounded Agatha using power beams which seemed to be working initially but then Agatha’s powers kicked in reversing the effects of the beams and killing off the entire coven except Agatha’s mother. However, Agatha after freeing herself went ahead and killed Evanora herself before flying off to her freedom. This is the reason why Evanora Harkness wanted to punish Agatha in episode 5 of Agatha All Along.

Is Evanora Harkness Agatha’s Mother in Marvel Comics?

If we talk about Marvel comic books, the character of Evanora Harkness is non-existent and was purely created for WandaVision, and now, she has reappeared in Agatha All Along. Moreover, in the comic books, Agatha never had a mother figure. So, this is an original character with no references to any comic run or comic book.
