Arcane Season 2 Ambessa Medarda S True Intentions Explained

Arcane: Ambessa’s True Intentions Explored

Ambessa Medarda‘s true intention is to have control of the Hextech technology invented by Jayce. In the first three episodes of Arcane Season 2, Ambessa is seen using her manipulation tactics on people, including Caitlyn.
It is known that the Noxian woman is not so selfless that she would use even a minimum amount of her energy to do good for anyone except herself. Since the beginning, she ridiculed or killed the ones who discouraged her. For instance — she killed Amara (a disguised Black Rose member) because the woman said that she would not let her take the thing she had been eyeing for so long. It’s clear that Amara was talking about Hextech or Hexcore as she knew that the Noxian would bring the world to its knees if they got their hands on this technology.
The entire Act 1 of Arcane Season 2 sees Ambessa playing mind games to achieve her goals. She has been manipulating the Council members against Zaun so that they have no choice but to use the Hextech weapons against the undercity. She lost her son Kino to a person whom he accidentally offended, so Ambessa is eager to have control of the powerful technology to prevent the deaths of any other members of her family.
However, instead of following the straight route, she chose to use the potent members of the Piltover Council against Zaun and get control of the powers in the process. The finale of Act 1 revealed that it was Ambessa who orchestrated the attack on Memorial Day. She knew that Piltover was furious at Jinx, but she wanted them to hate the entire Zaun. So, she manipulated people from Zaun into attacking Jayce and Caitlyn – she made everyone residing in Zaun a terrorist.
Ambessa knows that Caitlyn is the most vulnerable one after her mother’s death, and she could use Caitlyn’s thirst for revenge to get her to use Hextech. Jayce is the key to Hextech, and Cait is close to Jayce. So, that’s the perfect route for Ambessa to pursue and achieve her goals. However, Ambessa has her own blood standing against her – Mel Medarda. Mel knows that her mother can do anything for power, so she can only think about stopping her and nothing else.
