Assassin S Creed Shadows Leaks A Month Before Launch
Through a statement now confirmed by Ubisoft, it turns out a gamer obtained a copy of Assassin’s Creed Shadows through an online marketplace. Soon after, pictures and videos of gameplay began to circulate online. Furthermore, some Twitch streamers even began streaming the game before clips of it were taken down.
Ubisoft’s statement clearly acknowledged the issue and mentioned that the development team is working on patches to prepare for the launch experience. The company also condemned the leaks and requested gamers not to spoil the experience for anyone and to ‘stay in the shadows.’
With copies of Assassin’s Creed Shadows even appearing online at auction sites and selling for $100 each, it’s clear that people are eagerly awaiting to get their hands on it. However, we do suggest you want for the official March 20 release date.
However, we do understand if you can’t. After all, it’s not every day you get an AC game made in Japan with characters like Yaskue the Black Samurai making an appearance. That said, are you excited for Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Let us know in the comments below.
