Black Myth Wukong Benchmark Tool Is Here Check If Your Pc Is Ready
Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool Released
The official Black Myth Wukong: Benchmark tool was released early today. As you would expect, it has been specifically created to assess your system compatibility and hardware performance by rendering an in-game scene in real time. So you can easily apply various graphical presets and run it to test the best settings for you.
But do note, that this is not a playable demo of Black Myth: Wukong. It is just a tool to help you find out if your PC is ready to run the game. I ran the benchmarks in my setup (specs mentioned in the pic) earlier today for “Cinematic Preset” with very high RT and Frame Generation turned on. Here are the results:
By playing around with the different options, I was able to find the optimal settings that I could go with when the game releases next week. The final results mostly matched the recommended specs for the game that were mentioned by Game Science.
However, it is important to note that this doesn’t represent the game’s final experience. As stated by the devs:
Fans on the internet are currently praising the move to provide the Benchmark tool to prepare the players for the game’s release. In my opinion, the Black Myth: Wukong benchmark tool is a good example of a symbiotic relationship.
So while gamers can easily play around to find the perfect graphic settings, the developers can gather vital information from the former’s rigs. This of course makes it a huge win. I believe every studio can learn from Game Science and come forth with their benchmark tools for their upcoming games as it remains ultimately helpful for both.
Nonetheless, some of the users reported that the tool crashes occasionally and they were left unable to run the benchmarks. Game Science hasn’t released any updates regarding this issue. Thus, if you encounter any problems during your test, stay tuned for fixes.
That said, if you have run the benchmarks successfully, tell us about the performance of your setup in the comments below.
