Look Back Anime Movie Release Date

Fujimoto sensei was well-known for his one-shot manga before Chainsaw Man became a mega-hit, animated by MAPPA Studios. But now, one of his best works has received the green light to get an anime movie adaptation.
Recently, one of the best arcs in CSM also received a movie adaptation titled Reze Arc. Hence, this is going to be a double delight to Fujimoto fans.
The Look Back project is helmed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama and Studio Dorian. Furthermore, Look Back is confirmed to be released on June 28, 2024, in Japan. There is no word on the international release just yet. The announcement came in the form of a teaser, which you can watch here:

Fujimoto sensei, of course, is as excited as the fans. He shared an official comment about the movie and said:
Furthermore, “Director Oshiyama is a monster animator that most anime otakus don’t know about, so as an otaku, I’m looking forward to seeing this work on screen,” he added. The number of anime coming in 2024 keeps increasing and is a delight for fans. I’m looking forward to this movie later this year. Stay tuned for updates about its international release.
