Dimensity 7300 Vs Dimensity 7050 Benchmark Comparison

Dimensity 7300 vs 7050: Specs Overview

Here is the specs comparison between Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7050. Geekbench 6 CPU Benchmark

From the Geekbench test, it’s clear that Dimensity 7300 offers better CPU performance than Dimensity 7050. Dimensity 7300 scores 1,018 and 2,920 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Whereas Dimensity 7050 achieves 952 and 2,380 points in the same Geekbench test.
Both processors come with the same older ARM cores — Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 — however, Dimensity 7300 has 4x A78 cores whereas 7050 has only two such cores. On top of that, Dimensity 7300 is fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm process node, but Dimensity 7050 is a year-old chip, so it’s fabricated on TSMC’s older 6nm process node. This means, in terms of efficiency too, Dimensity 7300 has a lead. Dimensity 7300Dimensity 7050Single-core1,018952Multi-core2,9202,380

AnTuTu Benchmark

Next, in the AnTuTu benchmark, Dimensity 7300 achieves a total score of 637,177 points whereas Dimensity 7050 comes very close, standing at 612,320. The CPU performance seems pretty close in this test, however, in GPU, there is a 20% performance difference. In the storage test as well, the CMF Phone 1 does better than the Realme Narzo 70 Pro.

CPU Throttling Test

In the CPU Throttling test, both processors did a great job. Dimensity 7300 throttled to 94% of its maximum performance with no substantial drop in performance. However, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro, powered by Dimensity 7050, does even better. Its CPU doesn’t throttle at all which is amazing. Realme has baked in a large VC cooling system in Narzo 70 Pro and the result speaks for itself.

3DMark Wild Life Stress Test

Next, in the 3DMark Wild Life Stress test that evaluates the GPU, Dimensity 7300’s Mali-G615 MC2 GPU is about 36% faster than the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU in Dimensity 7050. That’s a huge difference while the stability remains almost the same on both processors. As I said above, the GPU is pretty disappointing on the Dimensity 7050. AITuTu Benchmark

For AI tasks too, the Dimensity 7300’s NPU is nearly 28% faster than the NPU on Dimensity 7050. In our AITuTu benchmark test, Dimensity 7300 scored 99,445 whereas Dimensity 7050 achieved only 71,311.

5G Speed Test

Coming to our final 5G speed test, well, the MediaTek 5G modem in Dimensity 7300 delivered better download speeds than Dimensity 7050. We did the test on Jio’s 5G network from the same location. Keep in mind, both 5G modems support VoNR and dual 5G SIM connectivity.

The Verdict: Which Dimensity Chip Is More Powerful?

After going through all the benchmarks and stress tests, it’s evident that Dimensity 7300 is a better chipset than Dimensity 7050 in all aspects. Be it the CPU, GPU, AI processing, or 5G performance, the Dimensity 7300 packs better silicon. So if you are wondering whether to pick CMF Phone 1 or Realme P1 for a good user experience, I would recommend CMF Phone 1.
