The chapter was also filled with flashbacks of Choso and Yuji, and we also saw the former regretting that he couldn’t spend more time with his brother. After getting our boy traumatized by killing off Nobara, Nanami, and Gojo, Gege lets Sukuna possess Megumi’s body and take him away from Yuji.
After these events, it was Choso who sided with him after finding out that Yuji was his brother, so Yuji somehow moved on from the loss of his friends. However, I feel that the author dislikes Yuji so he decided to end Choso’s story this way.
Before leaving Yuji’s side forever, Choso has an emotional time with his brother in an imaginary world. The manga panel sees Choso appreciating Yuji for learning RCT at such a fast pace. However, when Yuji says that he could do that because Sukuna was controlling his body, Choso corrects him, saying that younger siblings always surpass the abilities of the older ones.
Even though Choso died on the battlefield, he fulfilled his ultimate purpose, which was to save Yuji’s life. Have you read JJK Chapter 259? Were you moved by Choso’s sacrifice?
