Honkai Star Rail 2.3 will release on June 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM (UTC +8). The maintenance break to prepare for the release of 2.3 version will begin at 06:00 AM (UTC + 8) on June 19. The maintenance break is expected to last for around 5 hours. In case, the break extends, 300 Stellar Jades will be rewarded to players. However, you will have to be at Trailblaze level 4 or upper to claim the rewards.

Hoyoverse has released the pre-download size for Honkai Star Rail 2.3 update. As revealed in a tweet, pre-download for HSR 2.3 is now available. If you want to start playing as soon as the update arrives, we recommend you pre-download the update already.
The HSR 2.3 pre-download size for PC users is approximately 21 GB. For Android and iOS users, the pre-load size for HSR 2.3 is 13 GB. As compared to the previous version, the pre-download size is bigger this time. However, it needs to be noted that the actual download size is usually smaller than the one mentioned here.
