How To Change Pawn Inclinations In Dragon S Dogma 2

First, you need to head to Vernworth, which is the capital city of Vermund. The main quest takes you there early in the game, so finding it should not be an issue. Next, you need to find the Rift Merchant located next to the Vernworth Grand Rift Stone. Talk to the Rift Merchant and here you will find many items that can be purchased with Rift Crystals. Ambivalent Rift Incense: Randomly changes the Pawns inclination (500 RC). Kindhearted Rift Incense: Changes the Pawn’s inclination to Kindhearted (2000 RC). Calm Rift Incense: Changes the Pawn’s inclination to Calm (2000 RC). Simple Rift Incense: Changes the Pawn’s inclination to Simple (2000 RC). Straightforward Rift Incense: Changes the Pawn’s inclination to Straightforward (2000 RC).

The Rift Incenses can be purchased with Rift Crystals (RC). All of them are quite expensive so you will need to farm for some time to get all the Rift Crystals. Purchase the Rift Incense you want to use and head outside the city.
Once you are outside, look for a campsite. This is important, as you can only use the Rift Incense while resting at a campsite. After you have reached the campsite, set it up. Once done, go and talk to your pawn. Here you will find the option to give them the Rift Incense. Spend the night in the Camp and your Pawn will have a new inclination.
