How To Cure Depressed Pal Status In Palworld

Method 1: Move Depressed Pals to Palbox

The most common way to address any issue regarding the Pals in Palworld can be to move them to your Palbox. Whether your Pals are incapacitated or depressed, you can simply move them to your Palbox and wait for some time, which might be anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.
This will ensure your Pals return with no illnesses once the healing is done. However, this process can take a lot of time and is not the best way to cure depressed Pals. Keep reading to find out a better way.

Method 2: Craft and Feed Medicine to Pals

Build Medieval Medicine Workbench

To cure the depressed status faster, you need to feed pals High-Grade Medical Supplies. But to make the medicine, you will need a Medieval Medicine Workbench. After you reach level 12 on the technology tree, you can unlock the Medieval Medicine Workbench.
Once done, gather 2 Wood, 5 Nails, and 10 Paldium Fragments. Now, go to your build menu and craft the Medieval Medicine Workbench.

Craft High-Grade Medical Supplies

Once you have a Medieval Medicine Workbench, you can craft High-Grade Medical Supplies. You will need 5 Ingots, 5 Horns, and 2 Bones to craft the medicine. Find some ore farms to collect ore and smelt them to get Ingots.
You might need to venture around killing some Pals to get Horns and Bones. For Horns, you can kill any Pal with horns, such as Eikthyrdeer or Reindrix. As for the bones, slay Rushoar, Gorirat, or Vixy to get them.
Once you have the resources, select the High-Grade Medical Supply from the Medieval Medicine Workbench and start working on it. If you want the medicine crafting to be faster, assign a job to Pals with Medicine Production skills. Lifmunk and Lyleen can be great Pals for this task.

Feed Medicine to Depressed Pals

Now that you have High-Grade Medical supplies, you can feed them directly to any Pal you want. To do so, check on the top right corner of your screen and find if any Pal is in depressed status. Make sure you have the High-Grade Medical Supply in your inventory. Now, equip the Pal in your party using the Palbox and right-click on High-Grade Medical Supply. Finally, choose the Pal you want to cure from the list. This process is similar to feeding Pals food supplies.
If the depressed pal is working at the base and is not in your party, walk closer to the depressed pal and open the Pal menu. You can do so by pressing 4 on PC and L3 on Xbox.
Once the menu opens, select Feed. After that, you will see a menu from where you can select any food from your inventory. Select the High-Grade Medical Supply to cure the pal.
