How To Remove Learn About This Picture Icon In Windows 11

You can’t delete the “Learn About This Picture” icon from the desktop nor there is a setting to toggle it off. It’s part of Windows Spotlight that sets new wallpapers on your desktop and lets you know more about the current wallpaper. Inevitably, the Registry Editor comes to the rescue. Here is a short guide on how to remove the wallpaper icon from the Windows 11 desktop.

First off, press the Windows key and search “Registry”. Now, open it.

Next, paste the below path into Registry’s address bar and hit Enter.

After that, look for {2cc5ca98-6485-489a-920e-b3e88a6ccce3} in the right pane.

Double-click to open it and set the value data to 0. You are done.

Now, on the desktop, simply right-click and refresh. The “Learn About This Picture” icon should be gone from your Windows 11 PC.
