When Is I Am Legend 2 Coming Out

I Am Legend 2 was announced back in March 2022. A confirmation was laid out that Will Smith will be returning to the role of Dr. Robert Neville and will be joined by Michael B. Jordan in I Am Legend 2. As of now, we do not have a release date for I Am Legend 2 but since the movie has been in the works since 2022, there is a possibility that it can come out by late 2025 or early 2026.

Yes, Akiva Goldsman, the screenwriter of the movie, has also confirmed that I Am Legend 2 will stick closer to the original novel by Richard Matheson. Akiva also said that they are going to stick with the alternate ending of I Am Legend and that will be a more authentic novel adaptation as compared to the first movie.
