Is Deadlock Coming To Ps5 And Xbox Consoles

Will Deadlock Come to PS5?

As a player who has spent a lot of time on multiple Valve-developed games, it is unlikely that Deadlock will be on PS5 consoles. When it comes to Valve and Sony, things have not been that pleasant. Although Counter Strike Global Offensive was on PS3, the response it received was not nice.
Valve has always been vocal about how console patches have been hard for a PC-focused publisher. As of now, Deadlock is not available on PS5. However, the gameplay looks and feels console-friendly. So, we cannot rule out a PS5 possibility for Deadlock.

Will Deadlock Come to Xbox?

There was a time when I would say if Valve is making a game, it is likely to be on Xbox. Games like Portal, Left 4 Dead and their sequels were some of the classics loved by Xbox 360 gamers. However, with the partnerships off the charts, it is possible that Deadlock will not be on Xbox Series X/S consoles. Especially, when Riot Games Valorant is in direct partnership with the Game Pass from Xbox.
Overall, Valve games have stopped appearing on a console for a long time now. Whether it’s Artifact, Dota underlords, or their signature CS2 and Dota 2, all are a part of the PC ecosystem, Steam Deck, or some mobiles. If the console may happen, then Deadlock might become a crossplay game as well. Although the consoles are uncertain, Valve will likely put Deadlock on Steam Deck.
As we gain official information on the PS5 and Xbox console situation of Deadlock, we will update this story. Till then if you are on a console and love Deadlock’s gameplay, you can only pray to lord Gaben.
