Shadow Did Not Die in Sonic 3

By the final sequence of Sonic 3, we see Shadow, Ivo, and Gerald fighting each other in the space canon. Shadow and Ivo fight against Gerald and Ivo, betraying his grandfather, pushes him into the energy reactor. Following this, Shadow and Ivo sacrifice themselves to move the laser away from Earth. The space station where the gun was posted blew up after which both of them were assumed to be dead.
However, in the final post-credit scene in Sonic 3, it was revealed that Shadow is not dead and is shown flying back to Earth which also confirms that he will appear in Sonic 4 as well which is already teased by a character shown in the post-credit as well.
If you ask about Robotnik, he returned once after his apparent demise so there’s a hope that he might have survived again this time. To know what happens for sure, let’s wait for Sonic 4, and till then, stay tuned with us for further updates!
