Mi Band 4 Might Not Have These Features In India

So, the Mi Band 4 brings a new color AMOLED display, a bigger battery, more accurate fitness features, voice assistant support and it comes in a usual and an NFC variant, like the Mi Band 3. Now, in China, Xiaomi uses its own Xiao voice assistant on the Mi Band 4, so I was hoping that the Mi Band 4 would come with the Google Assistant in India. However, Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Band 4 in Europe alongside the Mi 9T (a rebranded version of the Redmi K20 Pro) and according to XDA, the Mi Band 4 in Europe lacks the voice assistant feature and NFC. So, if the Mi Band 4 in Europe does not come with these features, it’s very likely the Mi Band 4 in India wouldn’t have these features.

To be honest, NFC isn’t really a big deal but Google Assistant on the Mi Band 4 would have made it a big upgrade over the Mi Band 3, but if it’s not present in the Indian variant, it will be a bummer. Having said that, nothing has been confirmed yet, as Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any details on the Indian variant of the Mi Band 4 or launch date of the Mi Band 4 in India. So, I am hoping Xiaomi brings the Mi Band 4 with Google Assistant in India.
