List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on April 13
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
NIRVANA QUEEN RUSH POISON OASIS JOURNEY HEART
Like I said before, for some reason, my mind went straight to bands from the very start. However, the genre wasn’t clear until I spotted NIRVANA and QUEEN in the grids. Yep, we are going all rock today. That led me straight to ROCKBANDS as the Spangram today, running diagonally from left to right. OASIS and JOURNEY didn’t take long to find either.
Then, I found RUSH, POISON, and HEART in quick succession, thereby concluding today’s NYT Strands. Well, that was super duper fast. It would have been a tragedy had I felt the need to use a hint, given that rock music is my jam. Glad I didn’t.
