If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
WEDGE STILETTO CHUNKY CUBAN BLOCK CONE KITTEN
The Strands theme today was honestly a bit vague, and had me thinking about cars at first. After not finding Bentley and Porsche in the grids, I knew that was a wrong trajectory altogether. Even after accidentally finding WEDGE didn’t help. However, when I found STILETTO and CHUNKY to solve the rightmost portion of the puzzle, I realized I was looking for heels here.
And, well, HIGHHEELS turned out to be the Spangram for the day. After that though, I thought I’d be in trouble because that’s the most I know about heels. But, who needs knowledge when you’ve got luck? I had tons of it today and CUBAN at the bottom left turned out to be a theme word. Right above it, I found BLOCK, CONE and KITTEN in quick succession, and that was game over for me today.
Didn’t have to use any hints, and the hot streak is maintained well (at least so far). What about you though? Was it too easy or did you have to use up hints? Do cry your heart out in the comments down below.
