Catherine O’Hara Seems to Be Playing Joel’s Therapist

If you look at the new trailer for The Last of Us Season 2, we see her have a conversation with Joel in a very similar way to how a psychologist would talk to their patients. It seems that Catherine O’Hara will play the role of Joel’s therapist in The Last of Us Season 2. This new addition to the cast of The Last of Us Season 2 does not have a name yet and it looks like it will be revealed only after the series is released in 2025.

Does Catherine O’Hara’s Character in The Last of Us Season 2 Exist in the Game?

In the Last of Us 2 game, there is no such therapist character, which is seemingly being portrayed by Catherine O’Hara in The Last of Us Season 2. In the trailer, we see that Joel is taking mental therapy but in the game, he never did so, hence no such character was a part of this game. It seems that her character is a new addition to the franchise but as of now, the extent of her role is not yet revealed to us and we will have to wait till the series comes out.
