The Penguin How Did Victor Aguilar Die In Comics
Victor Aguilar’s Character Is Not Anywhere In DC Comics, but…
Victor Aguilar is an original character and is nowhere to be seen in the DC comics. He might be inspired by some other sidekicks in the comic books but he bears no close resemblance to any of them. So, we don’t know how he will die.
However, in one way or another, it seems as if the creators of The Penguin have taken inspiration from Robin while creating Victor’s character. An orphan who has been taken in by somewhat of a father figure and turned into an asset sounds a bit too familiar to me but that’s not it. The way The Penguin episode 6 ended, it looks like they are headed towards recreating one of the most traumatic events in DC Comics.
Victor Aguilar Might Die the Same Way as Jason Todd’s Robin Did
The Penguin episode 6 ends with a shot of Victor and Ozwald’s mom dancing to music and celebrating the power coming back to Crown Point. However, the closing shot shows us that Sofia Falcone has found them and is standing in the doorway inside their hideout with a crowbar. If you are familiar with the death of Jason Todd as Robin, you know that he was beaten to death by Joker with a Crowbar. However, later on, he was revived by Ra’s al Ghul and became Red Hood.
There is a possibility that the creators of The Penguin twist this story in the show’s context, making Sofia Falcone kill Victor Aguilar and Oswald’s mom with a crowbar in a similar fashion to how Joker killed Jason Todd. However, I don’t think Victor will die this soon since there’s a lot in his character arcs that’s left to explore. What do you guys think? is Victor going to die or not? let me know in the comments and stay tuned!
