Valorant Waylay: Agent 28 Release Date

Riot Games has officially confirmed that Waylay will arrive on March 5, 2025, with the release of Valorant Season 2025 Act 2. This will be the second agent release for Valorant Season 25 after Tejo.
Following the gameplay trailer reveal, I know many of you are impatient and excited to try out the 28th Valorant agent. You can learn about Waylay’s abilities and ultimate in Valorant right here. The update is expected to go live after a maintenance break of two hours. Here are the regional timings for the maintenance that will lead to the Waylay update release:

Asia Pacific: March 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM PT Brazil: March 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM Brasilia Europe: March 5, 2025, at 10:00 PM CET India: March 6, 2025, at 2:30 AM IST Japan: March 6, 2025, at 6:00 AM JST

Unlock Waylay Agent Gear in Valorant

Knowing the exact release date for Waylay is not enough as you must unlock her first to play in Valorant. To do so, you can use 1,000 VP and instantly unlock her from the Valorant characters pool.
Otherwise, you can unlock Agent 28 for free by completing the Agent Recruitment Event, which requires 200,000 XP. Earn XP quickly by playing games and completing daily or weekly quests. Once the recruitment event is over, you cannot obtain Waylay through the XP. To get her after the event is over, you will need 8,000 Kingdom Credits. You can claim Waylay for free in Valorant using Kingdom Credits.
Once you have unlocked the new duelist, you can unlock her agent gears. Here is a list of Waylay’s agent gear in Valorant:
