What Is Sylvie Holding In Loki Season 2 Episode 2 Ending Explained Beeebom

What is Sylvie Holding at the End of Loki Season 2 Episode 2?

By the end of Loki Season 2 Episode 2, in the final moments, we see Sylvie holding a glowing object that she is looking at. If you’ve watched Loki season 1, you would remember Jonathan Majors’ role as “He Who Remains.” If you look closely, you’ll see that he is wearing the same thing Sylvie is toying with in that scene.
Now the question arises, what is it? Well, to answer your question, that right there is a supernatural device called the “Time Twister”. In the world of Loki, there are two devices that manipulate time, one is the TVA TemPad while the other is this Time Twister.
The difference between both devices is easy to understand. A Tempad, as seen being used by many TVA agents and Loki, allows the user to travel back and forth in time. Whereas a Time Twister not only allows the user to travel in time but also allows them to teleport.
Sylvie must have taken it off He Who Remains’ dead body and used it to travel to the timeline she is in right now. A possibility is that she might choose to join Loki and Mobius in their fight to save the TVA and stop the timeline branching. Moreover, as stated in our Episode 2 recap, Ouroboros is unable to open the blast doors to the Temporal Loom. That’s because only its creator, which is He Who Remains, can open the blast doors. So there’s a chance that this device acts as a key to open the doors. However, right now, we don’t know what powers this device has, but we might find out more about them in future episodes. So, stay tuned.
