In What Timeline Ahsoka is Set?

To understand where Ahsoka fits in the Star Wars timeline, it’s crucial to know what timeline Mandalorian fits into. Based on the events in the series, The first season of The Mandalorian takes place in 9 ABY. Keeping that in mind, it was confirmed by Lucasfilm that for a brief period, Ahsoka runs parallel with The Mandalorian Season 3.
However, Ahsoka keeps going way further from the plot of Mandalorian since there is a reference regarding the stand Mandalorians took against Moff Gideon and his forces in the final act of The Mandalorian Season 3. So, with that, we can assume that the events we witness in Ahsoka are set somewhere between 9-12 ABY. The thing to note here is this is an assumption based on the events that took place in the series.

Will There Be an Ahsoka Season 2?

After Ahsoka was left with a massive cliffhanger in the first season, fans have been dying to know if there will be an Ahsoka Season 2. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Ahsoka Season 2 is officially in the making, with most of the previously seen cast set to make a return. Since the filming of this series is yet to start, we do not have an official release date for Ahsoka Season 2, but it can potentially be released in late 2025 or early 2026.
