Will Spider-Man Appear in Daredevil: Born Again?

Daredevil: Born Again made a super solid debut with its first two episodes, and this time around, we see that Wilson Fisk/Kingpin has leveled up to be the Mayor of New York City. However, the highlight that brought in the speculation of Spider-Man’s appearance in Daredevil Born Again was a speech made by Kingpin while addressing his new anti-vigilante policies as the Mayor. In his speech, he said-
Now, it’s pretty obvious that Kingpin is referring to The Punisher, Spider-Man, and Daredevil, and listening to the reference made towards Spidey, fans got pretty excited since this could be pointing towards a cameo by the Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man in Daredevil: Born Again.

Spider-Man Cannot Appear in Daredevil Born Again, and Here’s Why

Even though it would be infinitely cool to see a Spider-Man and Daredevil team up in Born Again, it is highly unlikely to happen. The main reason for this is that the right to long-form content featuring Spider-Man belongs to Sony, and it will be a hassle to get Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to appear in the show.   Executive producer of Daredevil: Born Again, Brad Winderbaum, recently talked about the appearance of Spider-Man to Brandon Davis on his podcast, where he said that they will most probably not be able to reel in Tom Holland to appear as Spider-Man.
So, with that being said, we can all agree that witnessing the Daredevil and Spider-Man team-up is still quite far away for us. So, even though it might be disappointing for fans, our beloved Spidey’s interaction with Daredevil was limited to Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
