Is the Sonic 4 Movie Happening?

Yes, there will be a Sonic 4 movie. Earlier, ‘Sonic 3’ director Jeff Fowler hinted at the possibility of a fourth installment during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he has recently confirmed the Sonic 4 movie. Fowler says that the post-credit scenes of Sonic 3 will tease the events of the fourth film. In continuation, he states:
Speaking to EW, Fowler revealed previously that the third movie’s end will tease new characters, and now we know that it will also allow us to learn about the plot.
In Sonic 2, the blue hedgehog shows us what he is capable of by defeating the bad guys. In Sonic 3, we will see him allying with Tails and Knuckles as a new villainous hedgehog named Shadow emerges. Well, while the fans are eager to see Sonic on the big screens once again, they are also intrigued to meet Shadow as the new character is voiced by the beloved actor Keanu Reeves.
